This painting is titled ‘Here comes Papa’ (അതാ വരുന്നു അച്ചന്). This was painted by Raja Ravi Varma in the year 1893. The original painting is kept in Kowdiar Palace, Thiruvananthapuram. The Lady in the picture is Ayilyam Nal Mahaprabha Thampuratti of Mavelikara, who was the eldest daughter of Raja Ravi Varma. In this painting she is holding her daughter Sethu Lakshmi Bayi who became the ruler of Travancore as the Maharani Regent for her nephew Chitra Thirunal from 1924 to 1931. Mahaprabha Thamburatti appeared in two of Raja Ravi Varma’s paintings
